After you graduate
Degrees are recognised across the EU, universities are accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance, and the cost of living is lower than in most EU capitals. Graduates can move into employment with an employer-sponsored permit.
Employer-sponsored work permit
Tied to the job. There is no general post-study visa; some graduates continue to a master's or move to other EU countries.

20 hours a week after the first 6 months, in specified sectors. Wages of €1,000 a month gross minimum (2024), rising to €1,100 after 6 months.
