Oasis Learning Hub is an independent study-abroad consultancy in Birmingham, founded by people who went through the process themselves and saw how much of the industry works against the student. We built the service we wished we had had.

How it happened
The problem
Too many students we knew were sent to the wrong course, the wrong city or the wrong country by agents paid to fill seats. Visa refusals from avoidable mistakes. Families spending savings on advice that served someone else.
The idea
A consultancy that is paid the same way as everyone else, by universities on enrolment, but that puts the fee second and the fit first, and says so in writing.

We chose to base ourselves where our students land: a short walk from Birmingham City University and Aston, in a city with one of Europe's youngest populations and rents half of London's.
Partnerships
Agreements with universities that share the approach: fast, honest assessment through the Express Offer route and clear scholarship rules.
Beyond the offer
Loans, accommodation and arrival support built into the service, because the offer letter is the easy part.

Counsellors in the UK, India, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Pakistan, one plan per student, and a promise to say no when the answer is no.
