How to apply, step by step
- Accept the offer and pay the required fees
- The university applies for the entry permit with the Civil Registry and Migration Department
- Travel to Cyprus and complete medical tests
- Apply for the temporary residence permit within the first weeks

Employer-sponsored work permit: Tied to the job. There is no general post-study visa; some graduates continue to a master's or move to other EU countries.
Working on a student visa
20 hours a week after the first 6 months, in specified sectors. Minimum wages of €1,000 a month gross minimum (2024), rising to €1,100 after 6 months.
