How to apply, step by step
- Secure admission and gather apostilled documents
- Apply at the Spanish consulate or BLS centre; processing up to 1 month
- Travel and apply for the TIE card within 30 days of arrival
- Register your address at the local town hall

Financial evidence
100 percent of the IPREM per month, about €600, or €7,200 a year, plus fees. Education loans from recognised lenders are accepted. Money must be in your name or a parent's with a consent letter, and statements must be recent. Our loan partners issue sanction letters that visa offices recognise.
After you graduate
Residence permit for job search or entrepreneurship: 12 months. Apply before your student permit expires; can be converted to a work permit once hired.
Working on a student visa
Up to 30 hours a week, compatible with studies. Minimum wages of €9.26 an hour minimum wage (2025).
