Liverpool John Moores University
LJMU traces its roots to the Liverpool Mechanics' Institute of 1823 and is now one of the largest universities in the north west. It is best known for sport and exercise science, maritime and logistics, business, health, engineering and the creative industries.
About LJMU
The university has spent heavily on its city-centre estate: the Copperas Hill campus and the new Student Life building sit near Lime Street station, and the Byrom Street campus houses science and engineering.
Liverpool is a UNESCO City of Music with low living costs, and LJMU's January intake across many master's programmes suits students on a tight timeline.
