Admissions

Student visas, without the surprises.

A refused visa costs a year. Most refusals come from money that was not held long enough, or documents that did not match.

Proof of funds

This is where most applications go wrong, and it is entirely avoidable.

  • UK: the money must sit in an accepted account for 28 consecutive days ending no more than 31 days before you apply
  • Germany: a blocked account funded for the year, opened before the visa appointment
  • France: proof of sufficient monthly means, usually a bank statement or a sponsor's attestation
  • The account holder must be you or a close family member, with proof of the relationship
  • Statements must be recent, stamped or verifiable, and show the closing balance clearly

Figures and rules are set by each government and change. Confirm the current requirement before you move any money.

Before you fly

A room booked

University halls where you can get them, a verified private room where you cannot. Never pay a deposit to a landlord you have not checked with us.

Documents in hand luggage

Offer letter, visa paperwork, financial evidence, transcripts and insurance. Not in the hold.

Money for the first month

Rent, a deposit, a travel card and food before your first payment arrives.

Someone to call

Your counsellor stays reachable through your first week. Most questions land in the first seven days.
