Dublin City University is a young, business-facing university on the north side of Dublin, built around computing, business, communications and education.
About DCU
It runs the INTRA programme, a paid work placement of six to eight months that sits inside most undergraduate degrees, and its links with the technology companies clustered in Dublin are direct.

Work placement
INTRA places most undergraduates in a paid role for six to eight months.
Location
Dublin's technology and financial sector is on the doorstep, with Google, Meta, Microsoft and the major banks nearby.
After you graduate
Up to 24 months on the Third Level Graduate Programme for master's graduates.

On-campus rooms are limited and go fast. We apply early or plan for private housing from the start.

How expensive is Dublin?
It is the costly part. Budget €1,300 to €1,800 a month including rent. We put the full-year figure in writing before you accept an offer.
What are DCU's entry requirements?
A recognised bachelor's degree with a 2:2 or better for most taught master's, plus IELTS 6.5. Computing master's usually want a computing or quantitative background.
Does DCU help with jobs?
The INTRA placement scheme covers most undergraduate degrees, and the careers service is active with the technology employers in the city.
